How long will my service take?

The average time in salon for a colour and haircut varies from 2-4 hours depending on your desired result. If you are having a colour change/correction expect to be in the salon for up to 5 hours. We aspire to provide you with the upmost and amazing service, resulting in BEAUTIFUL LUSCIOUS HAIR, which must never be rushed. .

What does being a Sustainable Salon mean?

Sustainable Salons rescues up to 95% of our salon resources from landfill and finds repurposing solutions that benefit the environment and give back to our community.

Being a Sustainable Salon also means we are able to donate your hair! All collected ponytails of 20cm or longer are distributed to charitable organisations to create wigs for those suffering from cancer or alopecia. Sustainable Salons is the largest donor of ponytails in the Southern Hemisphere!

How much will it cost?

We recommend coming in for a complimentary consultation with one of our stylists to give you a custom quote, as every client’s desired results are different and we love to tailor each colour/cut or service to suit your individual hair needs. You can book online and see our prices via the Fresha App or our website.

What is Plex?

Wellaplex aka PLEX is a plex-treament designed specifically for WELLA colours. What does this mean ?

It means it harnesses new technology to create your colour without compromising the condition of your hair, we do this by reconstructing the inner hair bonds whilst your colour is processing and after. It works in a couple of steps:

No1 Bond Maker is placed in your colour which helps to create bonds within the hair during lightening or colour services.

No2 Bond Stabilizer is a treatment done at the basin which further strengthens the bonds, re balances the pH levels of hair strands and strengthens the hair structure.

We include Wellaplex No1 and No2 in all lightening service as well as the required Gloss Toner at the Basin.

Should I re-book my appointment?

Yes, definitely!

Most of our stylists are booked out about 2-3 weeks in advance, late nights and Saturdays can be a 4-8 week wait. We will offer you to rebook within our recommended timeframe for your hair after ever appointment, alternatively you can book at your convenience via our online booking system, with Fresha.

For regular Client’s we offer in-between colour maintenance services at a discounted price which will have your LOCKS LOOKING GORGEOUS ALL YEAR ROUND.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

48 hour cancellation policy.

Upon making an appointment at Elle Aura Collective, we require a 50% deposit be paid via our safe and secure online booking system, Fresha. You will receive a link via text and email from Fresha to make your deposit payment. Alternatively you can pay over the phone or you are welcome to come into the Salon and make your deposit payment in person.

We are a small business and last minute cancellations have a big impact on us.

We understand that sometimes, unforeseeable circumstances can arise. However, we have to be fair and consistent with all clients. 

We send out a confirmation message via text and email 72 hours prior to your appointment providing you with the opportunity to cancel or reschedule if you need too. You must give us no less than 48 hours notice prior to the start of your appointment time.

No shows or late cancellations/rescheduling will forfeit your deposit.

We charge a $3 green fee as we are a sustainable salon.
